The original horizontal plan is broken down into five primary volumetric blocks: the garage/utility base, the public living core, a private zone for children's bedrooms, and a crowning primary suite. Dictated by a unique bottom-up approach to the site, these discrete, platonic volumes are piled along the slope, transforming a standard residential procession into an elevated vertical promenade where each programmatic shift corresponds to a new level of elevation.
By relying on pure rationalism instead of destructive, over-complicated earth-moving, this steep-slope modern residential architecture bridges the gap between functional topography and spatial theory. It stands as a powerful testament to the idea that a standard architectural program can be completely recontextualized through a simple shift in orientation.
